Charlie in the bath
Alex and Charlie updates
Charlie was sick this week for the first time. He also started rolling over 2 weeks ago (front to back). He's giggling too. We ordered the new baby gadget (the Baby Bumbo--see pics below--and don't ask how much it was!)
Alex is playing tackle football now--practice is 5 days a week; 2hrs a day, and Craig is one of the assistant coaches. He's looking forward to school starting, and he'll find out who his teacher is next Friday (he wants Mr. Best). He's all ready for school--he just got the new Spongebob backpack. And most importantly (to Alex), he is now able to hold his breath for 24 seconds underwater. His favorite movie this summer was Barnyard; his favorite book was Greggor the Overlander (he got this for free from Barnes and Noble for reading 8 books over the summer).

Family Updates
Busy times abound in the household. Alex started football on Aug. 2. Practice is 6-8pm every night (!!!!) which makes things tough on Jenny with getting Charlie to bed with no help. Jenny will start her new job on Aug 21., and will spend a week in Denver. We'll figure out a way to manage! We are all looking forward to a weekend in NC and getting a chance to relax!
