"Along the banks of the Olentangy..." is how Keith Jackson would start his introduction to any tOSU game on TV. A beautiful day to watch a scrimmage (err, game) between Kent State and Ohio State in the Horseshoe. We missed out on getting seats to see the Skull session (a pep rally with the band, team, and >10,000 of your closest friends) held in the old basketball arena. We made it in to our seats--Alex and I in the seats where the pictures were taken, Dad and Brian in the same location but opposite end zone--and watched the pregame warmups and felt the excitement build, leading to one of the best traditions of the band taking the field. TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band in the Land) lived up to its name, and we got to see the "double" Script Ohio performed. A relaxing game to watch (kudos to tOSU for the scoreboard animations, which were really good) and one of the best halftime shows by the band (featuring The Devil went down to Georgia, with the Devil fiddle player wearing a UM jersey). Couldn't have asked for more. Attendance was >105,000.
