Charlie's 2nd birthday. The big gift this year was a Thomas train
table that Jenny found for him--it was and still is his favorite toy.
He plays with it every day, just pushing the trains (and the
occasional school bus!) around and making up stories as he goes. One
of the trains is motorized; he loves to turn it on and then just leave
it. The rest of us aren't thrilled with the sound of the train
running continuously, but Charlie seems to really like it. I made a
school bus themed birthday cake for Charlie. He didn't like the
candle on it though when we lit it.
